This guided, self‑paced course is designed to help you reclaim your voice, explore your strengths, and take meaningful steps toward the future you want.
This course is structured as a supportive companion, not a checklist. Each week you’ll move through a gentle rhythm:
Regulate: begin with a grounding or breath practice to create safety and calm.
Reflect: journal or visualise to reconnect with your story, values, and strengths.
Reframe: work through a practical activity, like a worksheet, skills audit, or career canvas, to bring clarity.
Rise: take a small, inspired action and share in the Humans of Purpose Hub.
You’ll also find self‑care rituals woven throughout, from tea and music moments to creative Canva templates, to remind you that progress can be both powerful and nourishing.
How to Complete the Course
This program is intentionally designed to be completed one chapter at a time. Each week builds on the last, giving you space to regulate, reflect, and integrate before moving forward.
We recommend allowing one full week per chapter to get the most from your journey. Tip: open your calendar and allocate one hour per week for the next five weeks (or longer). Call it your Thrive time! Space for you to nourish yourself and your goals.
By the end of the five weeks, you’ll have:
A clearer sense of your values, strengths, and goals.
Practical tools to map your career or study path.
A refreshed CV or digital presence.
A personal promise card and roadmap for your next steps.
And most importantly, the confidence to own your path forward.
About Us
Humans of Purpose Academy is a not-for-profit initiative on a mission to change the lives of women and children with lived experience of domestic and family violence. Over 400 women are Members of our Academy and our virtual community platform with over 500 hours of on-demand personal and professional development learning content and connections to mentors and coaches, as well as pathways to employment, including in our commercial Digital Agency, Humans of Purpose.
Mettle is Mettle Women Inc, a national gift delivery service employing women who are experiencing homelessness due to domestic and family violence. We equip survivors of domestic and family violence with the skills, confidence, and financial security required to secure and maintain employment and in turn, safe and stable housing.
Together we’ve joined forces to make our programs more accessible to more women all over Australia.
